Is Web X-Ray difficult to use?

Q: Do I have to know an individual’s account password to monitor their computer activities?: No, you do not need to know any individual’s account password to monitor their computer activities. Web X-Ray monitors the computer activity for all users of that computer. Keep in mind, however, that Web X-Ray is designed to monitor activities which occur on a computer you own, have access to, and have permission to access.
Q: How can I set this program up on my partner’s computer?: You must have physical access to the computer and administrative rights (rights to install programs) on the computer. After purchase, you will be able to download the software immediately. Provided you purchased a Backup CD, you may also use the CD to install the program. Keep in mind that Web X-Ray is designed to monitor activities which occur on a computer you own, have access to, and have permission to access.
Q: Will Web X-Ray or IshmaelSoft send e-mails to me? Mail? Phone calls?: Not without you asking us to. For example, if you request that your password be reset and sent via email, or if you email us. If you purchase a Backup CD with your order, we will mail the CD to the address you gave us, in discreet packaging. IshmaelSoft will not send any unsolicited information to you.
Q: Can IshmaelSoft guarantee that Web X-Ray can’t be detected?: Even the most computer savvy individual usually can not detect the presense of Web X-Ray or disable it in any way. That being said, a promise of any program that it cannot be detected would be a fool's promise. At IshmaelSoft, we don't sell hype. But we are very confident in the measures this program uses to remain unnoticed.
Q: If the observed person is looking up space usage, will they see this file or stored images…How do I protect against this?: All files used by Web X-Ray are hidden and are virtually undetectable.
Q: How long will it take to install this software?: This is dependent on how slow your computer is and how updated the computer software is, as well as your own comfort level in installing software products. The minimum required time for installation is 2 minutes; the maximum should be no more than 20 minutes.
Q: Can the person I am observing look up Web X-Ray in the programs section? Or the start section? Or can the person search Web X-Ray and find the program?: No – when using “Stealth Mode”, Web X-Ray is not detectable by searching.
Q: Can I delete what I have found with Web X-Ray software?: Absolutely. Using Web X-Ray, you have control over what is on your computer.
Q: What computer systems is Web X-Ray designed to work with?: Web X-Ray has been developed for Microsoft Windows®, and has been designed and tested to work on XP, Vista, and Windows 7. It is not compatible with Macintosh.
Q: How do I know if I have Windows?: When you turn on your system it will indicate Microsoft Windows XP or Vista.
Q: Are there other possible applications for this software?: Yes; we also recommend Web X-Ray as a very effective means to monitor a child’s computer use.
Q: Is Web X-Ray difficult to use?: We have made every effort to make Web X-Ray easy to use for even non computer literate people. We would appreciate any feedback detailing your results or any suggestions for use.
